On March 8, 2021 the Rossmoor Men’s Golf Club will hold its Spring Membership Meeting. Due to ongoing issues associated with the Covid-19 Virus, the meeting will be held on Zoom. Hopefully in the near future, the club will be able to resume getting together in person.
The Board of Directors will present the upcoming years calendar of events. It’s filled with all the tournaments, both home and away, that have been so successful and fun for our membership. The Board anticipates a great year.
One of the goals of this meeting is to pass several Bylaw changes that have been researched, proposed and approved the RMGC Board of Directors. They include:
- Eliminate the current fixed date for the Fall Membership meeting
- Eliminate the requirement to elect club officers within 10 days of the Fall Membership meeting
- Eliminate term limits for incumbent Directors
Detailed verbiage related to the proposed changes are posted on the bulletin board of the Men’s Club area of the Pro Shop.
In order to get your juices flowing, our first event is a 4-Man Scramble Tournament to be held on March 3. It’s time to get your game together and look forward to this great competition.
