On Thursday, June 27 the 18ers had a unique challenge playing Creekside Golf Course twice for an 18-hole round using only four clubs. The format was a Scramble playing from the Gold Tees. There were 47 golfers and three flights, the top two teams of each flight received a purse of $28 for First Place and $24.00 for Second Place. Congratulations to all the winners.
Flight One: First Place went to Xuemei Reinhart, Jun Chao, Joan Binnings and Mirna Wong.Second Place was won by Sue Yoon, Min Ryoo, Mae Marcotte and Yunho Ju. Fight Two: First Place went to Liz James, Karyl Toms, Esta Podberesky and Karin Romak. Second place was won by Claudia Terry, Teddi Swanson, Julie Riele and Betty Cuniberti. Flight Three: First Place went to Ann Hamilton, Myra Belfiore, Gail Ramirez and Denise Pratt. Second Place was won by Mary Jo Leary, Orene Sanders, Jacky Dunn and Marlene Selfern. There were two chip-ins. Claudia Terry on hole 3 and Joan Binnings on hole 9.
