On Thursday, September 12, 41 Rossmoor Women’s 18ers played in an individual low net contest where each foursome was comprised of an A player, a B player, a C and a D player. Some of the greens on the Stanley Dollar course had recently been sanded so there was a two-putt maximum allowed and the scores were therefore not postable.
Winners in the first flight were as follows: First place, Joanne Kim with net 65; second place, Min Ryoo with net 67; third place, Joan Binnings with net 67; and fourth place, Jayoung Lee with net 69.
Second flight: First place, Janet Choi with net 64; second place, Toni Snyder with net 66; third place, Ki Hee Lee with net 67; fourth place, Ann Hamilton with net 69.
Third flight: First place, Char O’Neil with net 70; second place, Robin Moreau with net 70; third place, Anna Kim with net 71; fourth place, Del Poirier with net 73.
Fourth flight: First place, Jacky Dunn with the lowest net of the entire field at an amazing 62; second place, Karin Romak with net 70; third place, Denise Pratt with net 71; and fourth place, Pat Johnson with net 73.
There was one chip-in shot by Joan Binnings on Hole 9. Birdies were shot by Theresa Kim on Hole 4, Janet Choi on Holes 10 and 14, and Joanne Kim on Hole 16.
