The Rossmoor Women’s 18ers played “Three Bad Holes” on Thursday, August 17. Participants were allowed to subtract their worst scores for a par three hole, a par four hole and a par five hole from their scorecard after which 80 percent of their handicap was subtracted as well. Winners for the first flight were Agnes Shin in first place with 47 points; Theresa Kim in second place with 57 points; Janet Choi in third place with 58 points. Second flight winners were Joan Baggett in first place with 56 points; Peggy Yamada in second place with 56 points; Cletia Bowron in third place with 56 points. Third flight winners were Yuko Tsang in first place with 58 points; Aisoon Hong in second place with 58 points; Teddi Swanson in third place with 60 points. First place winners won $7, second place winners $5, and third place winners $3.
Peggy Yamada had a chip-in on hole 17, Maryanne Cucchiaro had a chip-in on hole 18, and Olivia Hsueh had a birdie on hole 13.
