Good afternoon everyone I am sending this email out as an explanation of how the 12 man registration is going to work. I know yesterday’s emails may have been confusing so I hope to clear it up with this one. We are trying to recruit players from RMGC that have an 18 or less handicap to play on the NCGA 12 man team representing Rossmoor Mens Club. If you are interested you can either follow the link in the email I sent out yesterday 5/1 at 8:14, it will send you directly to the page to register or go on golf genius and scroll down to last event on 12/14 it will be there also. Either way we need to you to register so you will be on our main roster list for us to see who wants to play. After that you can go into golf genius and add your name to all the matches you are available to play in, 6 in all. These are 5/16 at Diablo Creek, 6/13 at Poplar Creek, 6/20 at Boundary Oaks, 6/27 at home, 7/11 at home, 7/18 at home. This way we can see who is available for each match in case you may be out of town and cannot play.

Rossmoor Loses NCGA Match Play Season Opener

Rossmoor Golf Club’s first NCGA Match Play event was on the road at Green Valley Country Club in Fairfield. To their advantage, Green Valley strategically placed our seniors on the longer Black and Black/Blue tees. Longer tees and an unfamiliar golf course led to a 29-7 point loss to Green Valley.

Leading our team was Rossmoor Club Pro Brent Mulanax with 3 points. A two-person team win (2 pts.) with Brent Atkins and a tie (1 pt.) in his singles match. Other winners include Bill Ikard winning 3&2 in his singles match and Greg Gould, coming from 4 down, to win his singles match ‘2 Up’.

Rossmoor stays on the road and moves on to play a match on June 23 at the Moraga Country Club.
