RMGC Hosts the First Tee of Contra Costa County

The Rossmoor Men’s Golf Club will again host the boys and girls from the First Tee of Contra Costa County to play 9 holes on the Dollar Ranch Golf Course on Sunday, August 21st beginning at 2:00 p.m. The Club hopes to see between 12 to 15 young players applying their golf skills and playing along with Club members. It should be an enjoyable afternoon and the Rossmoor Community is welcome to come on out to watch them play.
The RMGC and 9er’s Golf Clubs Hosting the First Tee Boys and Girls of Contra Costa County

The RMGC and the 9ers hosted the First Tee Boys and Girls of Contra Costa County on Saturday, May 14th. There was a luncheon served, a putting contest and then the golf tournament was held. A member of the RMGC, a member of the 9ers and a boy and girl from the First Tee program were teamed up together. A great time was had by all.

The Rossmoor Men’s Golf Club and the Women’s 9 er’s are proud to be sponsoring a 9 hole tournament on the Creekside Golf Course for the First Tee Program of Contra Costa County. The joint tournament will be held on Saturday afternoon, May 14th. This event will pair the boys and girls of the First Tee with members of these Rossmoor golf clubs and will be preceded by a light lunch provided by Creekside Grill. There will be an additional putting contest and prizes awarded to the best scores for the boys and girls.
The RMGC and 9er’s are planning on inviting boys and girls from the First Tee Program of Contra Costa County to play here in Rossmoor. We are working with that organization to determine the dates that would be available for 9 hole play on the Creekside Course. We are certain that there will be many members of our respective organizations who would like to participate in playing a round of golf or helping out with organizing these events. At this time we are looking for any of you who are interested in getting involved.
