On Thursday, September 26, 45 Rossmoor Women’s 18ers played in a “Ones” game where the only holes that were counted started with the letters O, N, E and S, so Holes 1, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 16, 17 and 18 were counted and the other holes disregarded. It was an individual net format.
Winners in the first flight were as follows: First place, Theresa Kim with a net of 35 points; second place, Daisy Soo Hoo with net 37; third place, Min Ryoo with net 38; fourth place, Joan Binnings with net 39.
Second flight: First place, Ann Hamilton with net 31 points, the lowest score in the field; second place, Pat McSween with net 34; third place, a three-way tie between Yunho Ju, Liz James, and Ki Hee Lee all with net 35.
Third flight: First place, a three-way tie between Jenny Kim, Del Poirier, and Sharon Panagotacos all with net 37 points; fourth place, Marsha Jennings with net 39 points.
Fourth flight: First place, Anna Kim with net 38 points; second place, Orene Sanders with net 39; third place, Teddi Swanson with net 40; fourth place, a two-way tie between Joanne Brennan and Betty Cuniberti both with net 41 points.
Birdies were shot by Theresa Kim on Holes 2 and 8, Jun Chao on Hole 2, Daisy Soo Hoo on Hole 4, and Ki Hee Lee on Holes 16 and 18. No chip-ins were shot.
