Thirty-one 18er golfers teed off in freezing 40 degree temperatures on October 31. The six charm winners Janet Choi, Daisy Soo Hoo, Joanne Kim, Joan Baggett, Joanne Brennan and Garnet Shelly played in a shoot-out round for the Charm title. The players were paired as twosomes by handicaps. Joanne Brennan emerged as the winner. Here are the results for the Charm flight:
Joanne Brennan net 75, Daisy Soo Hoo second place net 77, Joanne Kim third place net 78, Janet Choi fourth place net 79.
The rest of the field competed in a low net game. Below are the results:
First flight: Olivia Hsueh first place net 68, Joan Munn second place net 74, Agnes Shin and Claudia Terry tied for third place net 75. Second flight: Gail Ramirez first place net 74, Pat Deisem and Del Poirier tied for second place net 78. Third flight: Jean Carroll first place net 69, Patty Frazer second place net 76, Karin Romak third place net 78.
Chip-ins were made by Jean Carroll hole one, Olivia Hsueh hole 6 and Soonee Kim hole 16. Birdies were had by Olivia Hsueh hole six and Claudia Terry hole 13.
