The Rossmoor Happy Hackers hold seventeen events each year (weather permitting). The first one is the Annual Orientation held each year in March. This is followed by 7 clinics, eight scrambles and an annual meeting and dinner.
The clinics are held on Wednesdays, 10 days before each scramble beginning in April and going through October. They are limited to 20 members. The cost is $5 per clinic and members must sign up in advance and leave a check. The sign up sheets are found in the pro shop on Happy Hackers counter about 2 weeks before the event. The checks should be left in the drawer.
Our scrambles follow the clinics 10 days later and are held on Saturday afternoons with a dinner following. The sign up format is the same as that of the scramble. The sign up sheets will be found on the Happy Hacker counter in the pro shop. The cost for golf and dinner is $30. Golf only is $7 and dinner only is $23. Green fees are additional and are payed to the pro shop before play. Members may invite non members to the dinner. Again, checks should be left in the drawer. On the day of play the golfers are asked to be checked in by 2:30pm when tee off is at 3:00pm, and 2:00 when tee off time is 2:30pm, (see event calendar below for tee off times).
