FOR THE ROSSMOOR MEN’S GOLF CLUB

The Board of Directors of the Rossmoor Men’s Golf Club want to inform the membership of the following status of this year due Covid-19 pandemic:

“The Home and Away tournaments this year have lost out to the Coronavirus and, except for one Away tournament, all will be cancelled. The club will miss friends and fellow competitors from 13 country clubs that normally visit Rossmoor. There is hope that 2021 will bring a vaccine and the resumption of the Home and Away schedule.

The Directors of the Home and Away Tournaments have released all their scheduled dates to Tom Snyder, RMGC’s Tournament Director. Tom and his committee are working hard to provide to provide some alternatives with a mix of formats that we hope you will find interesting.”

The members of RMGC are encouraged to look for announcements up-coming events either in the Rossmoor News or by E-blast. The types of events will vary week by week. For example, this coming week (July 29) will include the following items:
1. Creekside Players may select their Tee of choice.
2. New awards for excellent play including Eagles, Chip-ins, Sandies, Super Sandies and
Hole-in-Ones.
To play in this Tournament, please sign up by this coming Saturday July 26 at 5:00 PM.

The Mission of the Rossmoor Men’s Golf Club is to provide an excellent golf experience, while at the same time promoting fellowship and camaraderie among its membership.
