RMGC ANNOUNCES OPENINGS FOR
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
It’s time to begin process of electing new members to the Rossmoor Men’s Golf Club’s Board of Directors. The participants are chosen directly from our membership who have interest in becoming part of planning Tournaments, Home and Away Events or holding office such as Treasurer or any other area that might intriguing.
In accordance with our bylaws, the immediate past president, Pat Iacullo, will convene a nominating committee over the next week. This committee will be made up of non-board members and have the responsibility to present nominations to the Board by the third week of September. At that time, a slate of officers will be chosen. On November 6, a General Body meeting will be held (probably on Zoom) and those nominated will be presented to the membership and a vote will be accomplished.
If you are interested in participating on the board, please contact any RMGC Board member. Also, if you know someone who would be an asset to the board or shows interest, let any board member know. The Men’s Club Board members, both past and present, are more than happy to discuss the requirements of participation. It’s truly a great experience and you can actually have something to say about how golf is played here at Rossmoor.
