The golf course project list for 2021 is a long and challenging list. I suspect that it will take the entire year to get all the improvements done. However, Head Golf Course Superintendent Blake Swint and I feel that we can make these changes and keep the courses in even better condition. In fact, these changes will help you enjoy the game! So, here are the projects for 2021…
• Make drainage improvements at the fairway bunker area on #9 Dollar Ranch Golf Course.
• Renovate fairway bunker #9 Dollar Ranch Golf Course.
• Renovate greenside bunkers at #11- and #12-Dollar Ranch Golf Course.
• Renovate greenside bunkers #7 Creekside Golf Course.
• Renovate all bunkers #8 Creekside Golf Course.
• Install additional drain lines #1 fairway Creekside and driving range.
• Install drain lines at the beginning of fairway and gold tee area #17 Dollar Ranch Golf Course.
• Install a tee length 7-foot-wide stripe of artificial tee quality turf on #14 tee Dollar Ranch G.C.
• Level and re-sod the #14 tee Dollar Ranch Golf Course.
• Reconstruct the main tee on #16 Dollar Ranch Golf Course with improved cart path access.
• Renovate and improve approach area #14 Dollar Ranch Golf Course.
• Renovate and improve approach area #17 Dollar Ranch Golf Course.
• Create mounding and install a cobble water trail between the #9- and #13-holes Dollar Ranch.
Starting December 1st, we have another change in hours of operation as we head into winter. This change has to do with the range. As daylight gets harder to come by and the prospect of having to pick up balls by hand increases, we must adjust the schedule. So, starting December 1st the range closes at 4:00 pm with the last bucket sold at 3:30 pm.
Annual and first quarter passes for 2021 will go on sale starting December 8th. Payment will be by credit card only.
