Member Appreciation Tournament
First, a HUGE shout out to Greg Gould, RMGC President, and the full board for sponsoring and subsidizing this event.
Thanks to everyone who has signed up so far. I’m looking forward to many more teams to sign up by the May 14 deadline. Here’s the latest information updates.
Dollar course teams will have an 8:30 am SHOTGUN start. Creekside course teams will have a 10:15 tee time start. There will be flights based on the final team participation list.
Pro shop will send out on May 16 the tee and team assignments. See the pro shop prior to play to get the official scorecard, pay for green fees and or carts prior to play.
Holes 4 & 16 on the Dollar course will be closest to the pin. The player who is overall closet to the pin along with his partner will receive pro shop credits. Hole 7 on Creekside will be the overall closest to the pin with the player and partner receiving pro shop credits.
Each team will be randomly assigned, a top 10 pro who is playing in the PGA Championship on May 18. The 10 player list will be sent out via golf genius and the player will be on the team score card so you can track his score on May 18 as there will be another tournament where pro shop credits will be awarded to teams that finish in the top 3 of their respective flights once the May 17 RMGC team score and May 18 pro score are added together. To add some additional interest, I will allow any RMGC team to select a pro from the remaining list of players if you’re feeling he would do better than the random list of pro’s. You MUST email me (chuck.r.moran@gmail.com) by May 14, by 3 pm with the player’s name. No changes allowed once sent to me. Selection is on a first come basis.
ALL TEAMS MUST USE THE GOLF GENIUS MOBILE SCORING APP, NO EXCEPTIONS!! Return the signed, attested score card to the PRO SHOP after completion of the round. Lunch will be at the PICNIC area. Day 1 scoring results will be announced at the picnic area. Scoring results from Day 1 will also be sent out via golf genius. Day 2 final team scoring results will be at the pro shop once Day 1 of the PGA Championship has been completed. Any questions, feel free to email me. See ya all on
