RMGC Hosts Berkeley and Sequoyah Clubs

Playing under clear skies and gusty winds on May 8, Berkeley Country Club and Sequoyah Country Club golfers partnered with Rossmoor Men’s

Club in a two better ball format. Winning the first flight (net -20) was the team of Paul Weir (Berkeley), Chuck Leong (RMGC), Jeff Block (Sequoyah), and Norm Andrews (RMGC). Paul and Chuck led their team with net 69 and 70 respectively. Finishing in second place (net -20, losing card off) was the team of Dallas Amos and Dante Marchetti of RMGC, Eric Shand (Sequoyah) and Dwayne Williams (Berkeley). Congratulations to Dallas in mastering the front nine with a gross score of 35 (1 birdie, 8 pars), net 30.

Winning the second flight was the team of Bradford Smith (RMGC), Alan Kaufman (Sequoyah), Bill Keeley (RMGC) and Sam Chang (Berkeley) with a net -19. Bradford posting a net 70, with 3 birdies and Bill Keeley a net 71. In second was the team of Robert Eidus and Roger Bass of RMGC along with Roger Matsui (Berkeley) and Roger Carnagey (Sequoyah).

RMGC travels to Oakhurst Country Club where conditions have improved in the recent years. Happy winners of the first flight shown below.
