The Charm playoff took place on Thursday, November 7, where the six qualifiers battled it out to see who would emerge as the Charm winner for the year. This was the culmination of the six Charm tournaments which took place during the 2024 season. The women in contention for the prize were Pat Johnson, Yunho Ju, Sophia Kim, Char O’Neil, Nancy Park and Agnes Shin. Sarah Ko and Cindy Sonstelie were original winners of Charm days but neither could be present for the playoff so Johnson and Ju were moved up into the open spots among the top six.
The competition was close, with Shin’s net 72 prevailing by one point over Ju’s net 73. Congratulations to the 2024 Charm winner. Shin will receive her winnings at the 18ers holiday party in December. Kudos to all the women who made it into this prestigious playoff.
