The Rossmoor women’s 18er and 9er golf clubs played the annual Spring Fling event on Thursday, April 4 on the Dollar Golf Course. A total of 88 golfers braved the inclement weather. Most teams consisted of two 18ers and two 9ers. Each player got to purchase one magic putt and one mulligan to be used during the round.

Flight One: first place team net 57 Kathleen Young, Sandy Acker, Rebecca Paloma and Lauren Artress, second place team net 58 Gail Ramirez, Del Poirier, Casey Dixon and Gisela Hendrickson, third place team net 59 Robin Moreau, Denise Pratt, Linda Spiegelman and Sue Cannon, 4th place team net 60 Claudia Terry, Grace Nitta, Frances McDonnell and Vicki Simpson
Flight Two: first place two teams tied for net 57 Jean Moulaison, Carolyn Hensley, Joanne Kim and Ja Young Lee; Angela Logsdon, Elaine Matsui, Garnet Shelly and Peggy Yamada, second place two teams tied for a net 61 Theresa Kim, Maureen Bettis, Susan Day and Toni Hessler; Daisy Soo Hoo, Toni Snyder, Anne Phillips and Donna Sherman
Flight Three: first place team net 55 Chun Kim, Olivia Hsueh, Carol Andreini-Hicks and Marcia Thomson, second place team net 59 Margaret Hamilton, Lana Yagle, Frosty Anderson and Joyce Niebur, third place team net 60 Linda Ingalls, Laura Kim, Robin Sewell and Kathleen Mininni, fourth place two teams tied for team net 62 Louise Chien, Marian King, Jackie Bateman and Pat Baker; Lou McCorkle, Jan Butsavich, Karen Larkin and Judith Ruble.
Dee Reichert won the closest to the hole on hole number 16 with 5 feet 6 inches.
Players enjoyed lunch catered by Creekside Grill at the Event Center.
After lunch Mark Heptig, Director of Golf, introduced each of the models on the runway (Robin Moreau, Toni Snyder, Ann Phillips, Sandy Acker, Susan Day, Helen Chung, Kate Mininni, and Ja Young Lee) and Heptig gave a description of their outfits. Members got a sneak peak of the new spring clothing line available at the pro shop at a reduced retail price. Special thanks to all of the models for taking the time to pre-select outfits and modelling for the fashion show.

18ers save the date for: May 9 Guest Day and May 16, 21, 23 Handicap Tournament. All 18ers are qualified to participate in the Handicap Tournament.
