On Friday, May 3rd the RMGC Board of Directors hosted a CINCO DE MAYO lunch for the Golf Course Maintenance Crew. The lunch was to show the Board’s appreciation for the hard work the course Maintenance Crew does all year long. RMGC President Pat Iacullo presided over the festivities.
RMGC’s Food and Beverage Director and resident chef Bryan Burnett along with Twilight Director Rich Fuller prepare the lunch. The menu consisted of Tri Tip, baked beans, potato salad, cold slaw and chocolate cake for dessert.
Enjoying the lunch and good conversation are from the left Norberto, Maintenance Crew, Treasurer Mike Kiefer, Ambassador and Marshall Marc Raynor, Past President Fred Sun, Chef Bryan Burnett, Past President and Golf Advisory Council Chairman John McDonnell along with Jorge, Maintenance Crew.
Also, in attendance were Brent Atkins, Tournament Director, Mike Weisenberg, Membership Director, Burke Ferrari, Home and Away Director and John Benshoff, Secretary. There also were a number of the Maintenance Crew in attendance who were very appreciative of the great food.
The maintenance crew under the supervision of Maintenance Superintendent Blake Swint continues to work hard throughout the year to maintain our wonderful park like golf facility. The course not only serves the golfing community but on Mondays is open to walkers to enjoy a walk through what without golfers becomes a beautiful park to enjoy. This year, with all the rain, has been a very difficult time for the golf course. Due to the maintenance crew’s hard work the course is now in great playing shape. RMGC gives a well-deserved shout of thanks to all those crew members who have worked long hours to bring the course back to its normal state of play ability and park like views.
