On April 27th the 18ers Partner Odd/Even Tournament and East Bay Team Play was held at Richmond Country Club on a beautiful sunny day.
Women 18ers played in their partner Odd/Even tournament on Thursday, April 27th. Before teeing off, partners decided who would play the odd holes and who would play the even holes. They recorded gross scores next to their names and the net score for the odd and even holes in the appropriate box on the score cards. Due to the aerificaton of the putting greens, there was a two-putt max for all 18 holes. This format had four flights with 1st and 2nd place winners in each flight. First Flight 1st place Theresa Kim and Sophia Kim, 2nd place Joanne Kim and Jayoung Lee. Second Flight 1st place was Anna Kim and Nancy Park, 2nd place Gail Ramirez and Del Poirier. Third Flight 1st place was Liz James and Marlene Seffern, 2nd place Margo Dutton and Betty Cuniberti. Fourth Flight 1st place was Aisoon Hong and Jenny Han, 2nd place Stella Chan and blind draw.
Chip-ins were made by Laura Kim, Del Poirier and Jenny Han on hole #1 and Stella Chan on hole # 18. Birdies were made by Sue Yoon on #16, Jayoung Lee on #1 and #14 and Joyce McCann on #10 and #16.

East Bay Team Play which is made up of 14 East Bay Private Golf Clubs who play a friendly four-ball match play competition also played on Thursday. Thursday’s match was held at Richmond Country club in Richmond where Rossmoor played against the home team. Rossmoor scored 24 Gross points and 23.5 net points with Richmond the game competitor having 30 gross points and 30.5 net points.
