On October 3, the 18ers held the sixth and final round of the Charm Tournament. Cindy Sonstelie won the final round with an impressive net 63. On November 7, the Charm Playoff will take place where this year’s six winners, Sarah Ko, Char O’Neil, Sophia Kim, Nancy Park, Agnes Shin and Cindy Sonstelie will compete to be the 2024 Charm Girl.
Despite the heat, which topped out at 102 degrees, there were many outstanding scores and below are the top three winners in each flight taking home $7 for first place, $6 for second place and $5 for third place. Congratulations to all the winners and players who participated in round six.
Flight One: First Place Sophia Kim, Second Place Joanne Kim, and Third Place Jun Chao.
Flight Two: First Place Cindy Sonstelie, Second Place Yunho Ju and Third Place Sue Yoon.
Flight Three: First Place Lauralee Barbaria, Second Place Marsha Jennings, and Third Place Lynda Pritchett.
Flight Four: First Place Anna Kim, Second Place Lee Shaffer, and Third Place Teddi Swanson.
There were four chip-ins, Thersa Kim on hole three, Lee Shaffer on hole seven, Mae Marcotte on hole nine, and Linda Ingalls on hole 12. There were also seven birdies, Joan Binnings on holes two and 16, Nancy Park and Karyl Toms on hole 10, Cindy Sonstelie on hole 13, Jacky Dunn on hole 15 and Joanne Kim on hole 16.
