On April 12, six of Rossmoor’s Women 18ers teed off at 1:00 against six Contra Costa team members at their home course. The competition was tough with one of the opponents on the A team being a scratch golfer who eagled the 400-yard par 5 ninth hole by sinking her 70-foot putt after reaching the green easily in two shots. The course was in great shape and conditions were beautiful for a nice afternoon of golf. After all was said and done, Rossmoor added a total of 22 net points and 17 gross points to their cumulative score. Contra Costa added 32 net and 37 gross points to their tally.
