The Rossmoor 18er members played the fourth Charm and Eclectic event on August 15. A field of 29 members braved the heat with Joan Baggett winning the Charm event with a low net score of 64. Baggett will join the other charm winners in the playoff on Thursday, October 31. There are two more Charm tournaments for the season. Congratulations Joan!
Here are the results for the field:
First flight: first place Janet Choi with a net 67, second place Nancy Park with a net 71, third place Claudia Terry with a net 72.
Second flight: first place Del Poirier with a net 73, second place a three way tie Teddi Swanson, Laura Kim and Toni Snyder with a net 75.
Third flight: first place Pat Taylor with a net 72, second place Roxane Laiolo with a net 75 and third place Garnett Shelly with a net 78.
Chip-ins were made by Laura Kim on hole 12 and Roxane Laiolo on hole 17.
The 18ers appreciates Teddi Swanson for coordinating the tournament and Brent Mulanax for organizing pairings and score tabulation.
The next Charm and Eclectic will be held on September 19. Club Championship tournament will be held on September 5, 10 and 12.
