Rossmoor Women’s 18er Karla Witte had a very eventful few rounds of golf recently, shooting an eagle on Stanley Dollar hole 7 on Oct. 19th and then shooting a hole-in-one on Dollar hole 2 on Oct. 24th. The eagle, which was the first eagle of her golfing career, was executed with an 8 iron from a distance of 125 yards onto the 7th green to a back pin placement. It was witnessed by Witte’s childhood friend Sue Davey who was visiting from Ontario. The hole-in-one was also her first ever and was shot with a 9 iron to a white flag at a distance of 108 yards, and was witnessed by Davey and by Claudia Terry.
