Men’s Golf Club Visits Moraga CC
The Rossmoor Men’s Golf Club (RMGC) traveled down St Mary’s Road to play an away event at the Moraga Country Club. The fog broke early and the course was in beautiful condition. For those who liked steep hills and true greens, Moraga was the place to be for posting a low golf score. Apparently, for Greg Gould and Duffy Jennings the course suited them just fine, who finished on the first-place teams in their respective flights.
Of note was Greg Gould’s team of Mike Perez, Gould Lewis, and Stephen Arcuri who finished with a two best net ball score of -28. A score of -28 is the best total score in known recorded history for Rossmoor events. Greg’s win at Moraga, follows his impressive 7 stroke win in the Rossmoor Director’s Cup on the previous day.
Rossmoor’s second place finishers are Ed Francis and Jim Pingatore and third place finishers were Richard Scheffer, Andrew Fisher and Daniel Moy. RMGC travels to Roundhill CC on 14 August and Contra Costa CC on 28 August.
