MONUMENT CRISIS CENTER NEEDS FOOD AND MONEY

First, I want to tell you what all of us accomplished over this last week. We collected more that $6000 and 2 SUVs full non-perishable food. These donations are now in the hands of people in need.

Now, I want to urge all of you to understand that day after day, people are being laid off and are now applying for unemployment. The country, our state and our county are wavering somewhere worse than the Great Recession and the Great Depression. There are millions of people who didn’t get a pay check this week or last and are in crisis.

Is it possible for you to search your pantries and your check books to donate more to the Monument Crisis Center? They are in dire need.

Marilyn and I will continue to pick up whatever you have to donate and get it all to the Center on Monday morning for distribution. Also, please call your friends and see if they can donate and ask their friends to do the same.
