On Thursday, August 15, the 18ers had a beautiful day for the fourth round of the Charm and Eclectic Tournaments resulting in a competitive day of golf. Nancy Park was the day’s Charm winner scoring an impressive net 66. The Charm tournament is a multi-day low net tournament held six times during the season. At the end of the season, the six winners will have a playoff for the Charm Champion. The Eclectic Tournament is also a six-day tournament scored on an individual basis for each day of play. At the end of the season, the Eclectic Champion is the player with the lowest 18-hole score calculated by using the single lowest score played on each hole on each of the six days designated for Eclectic play.
In addition to Park, the other top low-net scorers were Teddi Swanson, MaryJo Leary, and Jayoung Lee, each receiving $7.00. Chip-ins for the day included Denise Pratt on hole 3, Lauralee Barbaria on hole 8, Lee on hole 10 and 13, and Claudia Terry on 15. Seven players had birdies, Yunho Ju on hole 2 and 10, Lana Yagle on 10, Lee on 13, Barbaria on 16 and Terry on 15 and 16. Congratulations to all of the players.
