RESULTS OF 12 MAN MATCH WITH MORAGA CC ON THURSDAY, JULY 11
The Team Match Play (12 man) squad continued its 2019 season on Thursday, July 11 when it hosted Moraga. Moraga sent their big guns to Rossmoor in the presumption they could overpower the course and the Rossmoor team. They were not completely successful but did win the match with a final outcome of Moraga 24 – Rossmoor 12.
Participants were: Terry Dawkins, Curtis Mitchell, Tom Snyder, Brent Atkins, Jack Meng, Rod Lee, James SooHoo, Won Woo, Dan Gonzalez, Jim Pingatore, Bryan Burnett, and Lorin Anderson.
Individual match point winners were: Terry Dawkins, Curtis Mitchell, Brent Atkins, Rod Lee and Jim Pingatore for 9 points.
Four Ball (Team) match point winners were: Terry Dawkins/Curtis Mitchell, Tom Snyder/Brent Atkins and Jack Meng/Rod Lee for 5 points
The POD, of Rossmoor-Orinda-Moraga-Sequoyah, point standings are:
Moraga – 80
Rossmoor – 58
Orinda – 50
Sequoyah – 64
Our next match is when we visit Orinda on July 18.
However, even after losing in a critical match the RMGC 12-Man team was able to be great hosts to the visiting winners – and a good time was had by all.
