The RMGC Team Match Play squad, normally referred to as the 12 Man Team, commenced its 2019 season on Thursday, June 20. The season started well for our Rossmoor golfers as they racked up a resounding win against their visiting opponents from the Orinda Country Club, winning the event 29-7.
The match pitted six (6) two man Rossmoor teams against six (6) two man teams from the Orinda Country Club. Each of the six matches was worth six points, 2 points for each of the individual matches within the two-some for a total of 4 points and 2 points for the 2 man team match.
Each Rossmoor 2 man team contributed to the victory by winning points as follows:
Snyder/Atkins – 6 points; Mathews/Lee – 2 points; Leong/Moran – 5 points; SooHoo/McDonnell – 4 points; Woo/Scheffer – 6 points; and, Pingatore/Andersen – 6 points. WELL DONE !!!
