The Rossmoor Men’s Golf Club held a golf tournament on August 10, 2022 on The Dollar Ranch Golf Course. The tournament was a 4 man Rossmoor scramble. On a Rossmoor Scramble, all 4 golfers tee off and the best tee shot is chosen. The person whose shot was chosen marks his ball, picks it up and the other 3 golfers hit the next shot. This format is continued until the ball is holed out. The 84 golfers were divided into 3 flights based upon their handicaps. Winners were as follows:
Flight #1 – 1st place with a gross score of 66 and a net score of 61 were Barry Savnik, Mike Stone, Bill Ikard, and Rod Lee.
Flight #1 – 2nd place with a gross score of 68 and a net score of 61 were Chuck Leong, Fred Sun, Jim Pingatore, and Rich Wheeler.
Flight #1 – 3rd place with a gross score of 69 and a net score of 61 were Chuck Benson, Bradford Smith, Greg Gould, and Bill Keeley..
Flight #2 – 1st place with a gross score of 72 and a net score of 60 were Thomas Stinson, Norm Andrews, Bob Bratton, and Stan Orlik.
Flight #2 – 2nd place with a gross score of 71 and a net score of 61 were Lee Vandekerchove, Robert Fletcher, Michael DeRogue, and Jitu Patel.
Flight #2 – 3rd place with a gross score of 72 and a net score of 62 were Ed O’Dea, Irwin Javinsky, Jonathon Shaffer, and Simon Park
Flight #3 – 1st place with a gross score of 75 and a net score of 59 were Dan Poulin, George Bodnar, Tancred Agius, and Elliott Tertes.
Flight #3 – 2nd place with a gross score of 70 and a net score of 59 were Fran Mullins, Jay Kutler, David Romanski, and Brian Hillier.
Flight #3 – 3rd place with a gross score of 73 and a net score of 60 were Joe Cellucci, Richard Fuller, Dan Ring and Jim Bombardier.
