Subject: Meeting about golf and walking!
Golfers,
Under the new order from the County, the shelter in place has been extended through May 31st. Under the new orders some outdoor recreational activities are permitted, including golf. All indoor activities are still closed. As you are all aware many residents have been enjoying the ability to walk on the golf courses. Now that golf is scheduled to resume these residents are not ready to give up walking as it is their main form of exercise. The GRF Board has received hundreds of emails and phone calls from residents asking that the courses remain available to walkers. The Board has decided to hold a meeting next Monday, May 11th to discuss options for further potential modifications to the golf schedule in order to accommodate the demands for walking. The time and link to the meeting will be posted on Rossmoor.com.
