The Handicap Tournament, based on Stroke Play, is a signature event for the 18ers. This year it took place on June 13 and 20. Congratulations to Sue Yoon for playing two strong rounds with an impressive total net of 135. Her score was the lowest of all the competitors on both days. The rest of the field also played well with many impressive low net scores over the two-day competition.
Each participant was required to play both days and a 100 percent of each player’s handicap was deducted from gross scores to determine the winners. Eight players in addition to Sue Yoon received payouts based on net scores including Barbara Musante, net 140; Agnes Shin, net 142; Nancy Park, net 142; Laura Kim, net 144; Karyl Toms, net 144; Okey Ro, net 142; Sophia Kim, net 148, and Denise Pratt with a net 149. Kudos to the winning players.
