On August 22, Rossmoor 18ers held the annual summer guest day on the Dollar Ranch Course, hosting approximately 55 guests for a total of 91 players. The Summer Splash format was a four-person team Cha Cha Cha. Each team scored one best ball on the par fives, two best balls on the par fours and three best balls on the par threes. Prizes were also given for closest to the pin on holes two and 16.
The event started with a delicious breakfast from Sunrise Bakery and ended with a selection of tasty salads from Pacific Catch. Many thanks go to the dedicated organizers Laura Kim and MaryJean Kidd, and helpers, Judy Moran and Margo Dutton.
At the luncheon, awards were handed out to the winners in all four flights. First place winners received $20 each, second place winners $15, third place winners $7 and closest to the pin $10 each. Congratulations to all of the winners and players for a successful day.
