The Rules Seminar on August 22 from 8:30-11:00 at the Event Center is being sponsored by the 18ers Rules Committee, with help from a team of volunteers. If you haven’t already done so, I highly encourage you to register for the seminar and support our effort to spread the word on the Rules of Golf. This year’s Seminar is different from previous years. For the first time, the invitation has been extended to all the Rossmoor Golf Clubs. There are still spaces left, so join the fun and learn some Rules at the same time. Everything is free. From 8:30 to 9am, enjoy cinnamon rolls, croissants, homemade muffins, and delicious Hawaiian coffee. Also buy a few Raffle tickets to win great prizes, including a $100 gift certificate from the Pro Shop.
At 9am, the Seminar will begin, and Raffle winners will be announced at 11am. This year we are very fortunate to have as presenters the Chief Operating Officer of the NCGA, Ryan Gregg and Suzanne Olsen, a widely experienced NCGA Rules Official, who has given us very entertaining and informative Rules Seminars in the past.
