Theresa Kim had a thrill of a lifetime, on Saturday, August 20, when she hit a perfect shot off the 16 tee which landed in the hole right next to the flagstick. She said, “I didn’t see the ball on the green” and asked Sue Yoon and Sophia Kim, who were playing with her, “where did it go?” They were yelling, “in the hole, in the hole!” “Wow, I was so surprised and excited.” This is her first ace after 20 years of playing golf. She only became serious about the game 8 years ago when she retired from being a Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey, and moved to Rossmoor. Theresa is very dedicated to the game, and the 18ers. Three years ago she was Club Captain and currently serves as the Handicap Committee Chair. If she is not playing an 18-hole round with her husband Peter, or friends, you will find her on the golf range practicing her short game.
Congratulations, Theresa.
