18ers’ Halloween Bash And General Meeting

The very fun Halloween Bash will take place on October 30. This is a popular 18ers’ annual event in which golfers are encouraged to decorate their hats or visors in festive, creepy, or funny Halloween motif.
The format for the golf tournament that day will be the dreaded “orange ball”. Each team of 4 is given an orange golf ball which rotates among the four players. The format is two net balls of foursome in which the orange ball is always counted as one of the two. A lost ball disqualifies the team. Play will be from the gold tees following winter rules.

Golf will be followed with a light lunch in the Club Room at Creekside. The Rossmoor golf pros will be the judges for awards to those with the best hats and visors. It’s always a tough selection because of the clever, elaborate, and sometimes hilarious range of creativity presented.

After the festivities, there will be a General Meeting. Topping the agenda is election of officers for 2015.
Dues are Due
Membership dues for the 18ers’ 2015 activities are due by November 1.

All current members will receive an email with a renewal form and information. The form will also be posted on the 18ers website, and copies will be available in the Pro Shop.

It is important to renew promptly so that all members will be included in the 2015 Directory of Rossmoor Golf Clubs.
