The 18ers held the Club Championship over three days: September 2, 7 and 9. The field battled the heat all three days with Claudia Terry emerging as the winner with a gross score of 243. Claudia has been the runner up in the championship flight for the past three years and won the championship this year with a remarkable three-day gross score of 79, 79, 85. Claudia’s final score of 243 is the lowest score recorded in the last 9 years of the tournament. Congratulations Claudia! Coming in second place was Joyce McCann with a low gross score of 264.

Thursday, July 8 the 18er ladies played in their annual Blue and White Tournament. Players are matched up by the golf shop with ladies having similar handicaps. They are then put on either a Blue or White team. This year’s winners were the Blue team and for that honor the White team paid for their hot dog lunch.
