The Rossmoor Men’s Golf Club held their first twilight golf tournament of the year on Friday, April 8, 2022. One Hundred Sixty-Two golfers competed on the Dollar Golf Course which was divided into the upper 9 holes and the lower 9 holes. Each 9 holes were further divided into 3 flights each based upon the handicaps of the golfers. All golfers received between $6 and $12 of pro shop credit based upon their placement in their flight.
Winners were as follows:
Lower 9 holes, Flight #1 – George Dort, Rebecca Palomo, Darrell Cannon, and Sue Cannon (Score – 27)
Lower 9 holes, Flight #2 – Joe Cellucci, Mary Beth Hodge, Lorin Anderson, and Sally Anderson (Score – 27)
Lower 9 holes, Flight #3 – Camilla Clare, Gerda Peterson, and Wolfgang Meier (Score – 26)
Upper 9 holes, Flight #1 – Art Hastings, Errol Crain, Joan Weinstein, and Stephen Weinstein (Score – 29)
Upper 9 holes, Flight #2 – William Carstens, Joanne Thorne, Vicky Lucas, and Larry Jensen (Score – 29)
Upper 9 holes, Flight #3 – Susan Day, Robert Day, Amy Bollinger, and Robin Bollinger (Score – 23)
After golf, an excellent dinner was enjoyed by the 162 golfers plus 20 additional guests. After dinner 20 raffle prizes were distributed.
The next Twilight Golf Outing will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022.
