The Rossmoor 18ers played the Creekside Course on September 27 so that the Niner Club could play their annual game on the Dollar Course.
The 18ers played two rounds on the course and could only use their choice of three clubs (hybrids or irons only) and a putter. Members had to make creative shots with their club selections. The game was the best two balls of the four person team.
The following are the results:
First flight: first place team of Theresa Kim, Jayoung Lee, Sophia Kim and Claudia Terry net 138, second place Toni Snyder, Esta Podberesky, Daisy Soo Hoo and Linda Ingalls net 142 and third place Nancy Park, Janet Choi, Aisoon Hong and Anna Kim net 146.
Second flight: first place Karin Romak, Garnet Shelly, Olivia Hsueh, Joan Munn net 138, second place Robin Moreau, Bari Mantel, Sherry Endicott with a blind draw net 142 and third place Ann Hamilton, Lana Yagle, Del Poirier and Gail Ramirez net 144.
Third flight: first place Kathleen Young, Patricia Taylor, Soonee Kim and Jacky Dunn net 136, second place Marlene Seffern, Donna Wagner, Judy Fletcher, Judith Moran net 139, third place Mitzi Weinberg, Jean Carroll, Nancy Groswird and Patty Frazer net 144.
Birdies were shot by Sophia Kim #1 and Claudia Terry and Jayoung Lee on #9.
Chip-ins were made by Claudia Terry #9, Lana Yagle and Pat Deisem #4, Kathleen Young #7, Mitzi Weinberg #10 and Soonee Kim #8.
