The Women’s 18ers Golf Club played their first tournament of the season on March 5th.  Thirty six golfers participated enjoyed the sunny weather and very good course conditions.  The game for the day was a Shamble format.  The members played in teams of four.  The best of the 4 tee shots (as determined for the team) is marked and all 4 players play their 2nd shot from that location.  Each member team member then plays their own ball the remainder of the hole until they hole out.  The best two low net balls are used for the team score.
Here are the results:
First Flight:  1st place team of Olivia Hsueh, Aisoon Hong, Ann Hamilton and Jean Carroll with team score of 115; 2nd place team of Agnes Shin, Nancy Park, Sue Yoon and Joanne Kim with a team score of 118
Second Flight:  1st place team of Jayoung Lee, Del Poirier, Karin Romak and Shin Kim with a team score of 112; 2nd place team of Sophia Kim, Denise Pratt, Pat Deisem and Robin Moreau with a team score of 119.
Birdies: Theresa Kim hole 1, Claudia Terry hole 16, Jayoung Lee hole 7, Joanne Kim hole 10.  One chip-in for the day was made Joanne Kim hole 12
