The 18er played the last tournament of the year on November 19. The format for the Turkey Shoot/Criss Cross was played as follows: members take the best score of hole #1 or #10, #2 or #11, #3 or 12 and so on. The total of the nine holes selected determine score.
Here are the results:
First flight: Agnes Shin net 28, Sue Yoon net 29, Joanne Kim net 31 (won tie breaker), Grace Nitta net 31, and Claudia Terry net 31.
Second flight: Margo Dutton Net 28, Joan Baggett net 30, Joan Munn net 31 (won tie breaker), Nancy Park net 31 and Linda Pritchett net 31.
Third flight: Denise Pratt net 30, Jacky Dunn net 31(won tie breaker), Joan Weinstein net 31, Anna Kim net 32 (won tie breaker), and Mirna Wong net 32.
Fourth flight: Donna Wagner net 27, Stella Chan net 29, Garnet Shelly net 30 (won tie breaker), Char Gonzalez net 30 and Jean Carroll net 31.
Jacky Dunn scored a low net of 71 for the field and was awarded a $20 Safeway gift card donated by Toni Snyder. Thank you Toni.
Birdies were hit by Ann Hamilton #2, Agnes Shin #10, Joanne Kim and Joan Weinstein #16.
Chip-ins were made by Nancy Park #2, Garnet Shelly #6, Stella Chan #6 & #16, Maryhelen Greaves #18.
A big thanks to Jacque Vigil for taking care of the 18ers pairings and results. The 18ers also thank Denise Pratt, Tournament Chair, for organizing the weekly games for the members. It made a big difference to the 18ers during this challenging year.
