Fifty six members participated in the 18ers Three Sixes outing on August 27th. The format was one net best ball of the group for the first six holes, two net best balls for holes seven to twelve and three net best balls for holes thirteen to eighteen. Members enjoyed the fun format working and strategizing together for the team scores.
Here are the results: First flight: first place team of Grace Nitta, Laura Kim, Peggy Yamada and Toni Snyder with a total score of 132, second place team of Olivia Hsueh, Jayoung Lee, Agnes Shin and Soonee Kim 135. Second flight: first place team of Joan Baggett, Margo Dutton, Maryjean Kidd and Lynda Pritchett 126, second place team of Ann Hamilton, Esta Podberesky, Daisy Soo and Lana Yagle 136. Threesome flight: first place team of Jean Carroll, Nancy Groswird and Mitzi Weinberg 138, second place team of Janet Choi, Anna Kim and Nancy Park 142.
Birdies were hit by Theresa Kim and Daisy Soo Hoo on hole one, Darlene Martel holes six and sixteen and Joan Baggett on hole thirteen. Chip-ins were made by Theresa Kim and Daisy Soo Hoo hole one, Agnes Shin hole two, Sue Yoon hole fifteen, Kathleen Young hole eighteen, Olivia Hsueh hole five, and Maryjean Kidd holes one and fifteen.
