The Rossmoor Women’s 18 Hole Golf Club just played their annual 3 Day Club Championship.  This year Claudia Terry won her third club Championship.  Jayoung Lee was the runner up for her second year. The championship is a 3-day golf event with the winner receiving the lowest total gross score for the three days playing from the red tees. Terry had a gross score of 248 with runner-up Lee having a total gross score of 273.  This event also had a combo tee flight where the women played from the combo red/gold tees.  The first gross winner of this flight was Agnes Shin and second place was Nancy Park.  Prizes were also given to the low net players in the 2 fights with Joan Binnings winning first low net and Sue Yoon second low net in the championship flight and Jane Lee winning first low net and Peggy Yamada second in the combo tee flight.  Birdies and chip ins were honored to all playing on the two days of the championship playdays.  Thursday October 12, birdies were had by Theresa Kim, Laura Kim and Chip-ns were made by Theresa Kim and Joyce McCann. The birdies and chip-ins from Thursday October 19 were birdies made by Laura Kim, Pat McSween, Joanne Brennan, Terry and Jayoung Lee. A chip-in was made by Daisy Soo Hoo.  Mark Heptig, Director of Golf and Jacque Vigil, Head Golf Professional awaited the women and presented Terry with her Championship trophy.  Congratulations go to all the ladies who participated in this very difficult hot weather day which ended with a lunch for the 18er Women members to applaud Terry and the other winners for their success.
