The Rossmoor Women’s 18ers played the first charm event on March 21. The player that shot the low net for the field was named the lucky charm girl for the round. She is eligible to compete with the other charm girls towards the end of the season. There are a total of six charm events for the season.
Daisy Soo Hoo was the lucky charm girl for the day in a field of 34 players. She shot a low net of 70.
The below are results:
First Flight: 1st place Joanne Kim net 75, 2nd place tie broken on the back nine, Sue Yoon net 77, 3rd place Olivia Hsueh net 77.
Second Flight: 1st place Daisy Soo Hoo net 70, Agnes Shin net 79, Ja Young net 80.
Third Flight: tie was broken on back nine, 1st place Jacky Dunn net 84, 2nd place Denise Pratt net 84, 3rd place Kathleen Young net 84.
Chip-ins were made by Denise Pratt on hole #6, Daisy Soo Hoo on hole #10, Joanne Brennan on hole #17. Birdies were made by Joanne Kim on hole #1 and Daisy Soo Hoo on hole #10.
Save the dates for the upcoming May Handicap Tournament: Thursday, May 16, Tuesday, May 21 and Thursday, May 23. Participants are required to play five Thursday tournaments to qualify for the Handicap event. More information to follow.
