On May 3, the Rossmoor Women’s 18-Hole club sent their six-woman team to Moraga to compete against the Sequoyah team on a cold and drizzly morning. The format for East Bay Team Play is always four-ball match play with an A team, a B team and a C team. Rossmoor scored 31.5 gross points and 30 net points compared to Sequoyah’s 22.5 gross points and 24 net points.
The team played against two tough teams in April: Blackhawk CC team also Richmond CC on their home courses. After four matches, Rossmoor is currently in 9th place for gross and net (out of 14 teams).
The next EBTP match will be held at Claremont Country Club on May 25 and Rossmoor’s opponent team will be from Berkeley Country Club.
