On Thursday, May 2, the third match of the East Bay Team Play (EBTP) League took place at Rossmoor on Dollar Course. Fourteen private golf clubs in the East Bay area pair off against one another in thirteen separate matches throughout the season, competing to accumulate the most gross and net points in match play tournaments. The format for East Bay Team Play is always four-ball match play with an A team, a B team and a C team. For the May 2 pairing, Rossmoor was vying against the team from Castlewood.
At the end of the day, Rossmoor’s team ended up with 30 gross points (out of 54 total possible points) and 29.5 net points (again, out of 54 total possible points) which moved Rossmoor up in the overall standings. Congratulations to the Rossmoor team.
