On Thursday, March 5th the Rossmoor Women’s 18 Hole Golf Club starts its 2014 tournament season with a members mixer. Foursomes will be determined by the pro shop from members who have signed up to play. The sign-up sheet is located in the Rossmoor 18ers tournament binder below the bulletin board in the pro shop. Shot-gun play starts at 9am, but players should arrive at the golf course at 8:30am to check-in. The gold tees will be used in this best ball tournament.
Immediately after play, the first general meeting for the year will be held in the Club Room at Creekside. All members planning to attend this meeting are requested to sign up in the pro shop by March 3rd and, if a purchased lunch is wanted, place a check made out to Rossmoor Women’s 18er’s for $5 in an envelope marked “General Meeting” and place the envelope in the 18er’s drawer in the pro shop. A purchased lunch includes a turkey or tuna sandwich with chips and a cookie. Beverages will be provided to all.
