The 18ers played a fun team outing under fair weather on Thursday, April 12th. Foursomes were composed of members selected by the pro shop. Each team consisted of an A, B, C and D player and the format was one best ball/low net for the team. The following are results as follows:
1st Place Winners net 62 $5 Team Claudia Terry, Del Poirier, Marlene Seffern, Denise Pratt
2nd Place Winners $4 net 63 Team Agnes Shin, Aisoon Hong, Nikki Affinito, Lori Lynn
3rd Place Winners $3 net 64 Team Joan Munn, Linda Ingalls,Teddi Swanson, Esta Podberesky
Please save the dates for the upcoming 18ers Handicap Tournament which will take place on May 17, 22 and 24. This annual event is one of the two “majors” for the 18ers and consists of three days of competitive golf. The format will be the same as was done in 2017: the first two days will be stroke play, and the final day will be match play with each participant paired against another player with a similar cumulative net score from the first two days. Competitors must play all three days to participate. There will be no follow-the-field so all 18ers are encouraged to join the fun. The winner of the event will have her name inscribed on the perpetual trophy.
