The 5th Round of the Eclectic Tourney with Low Gross and Low Net Winners was played by the 18er Golf Club on September 17.

On Thursday the 17th the 18er Golf Club ladies played in a four flight tournament to determine the low gross and low net winners for each flight. 1st flight – Low gross Aileen Choi 86, 1st low net Jean Carroll 70, 2nd low net Janet Choi 71. 2nd flight low gross Helen Chung 94, 1st low net Inez Scrivner 69, 2nd low net Gail Ramirez 71. 3rd flight low gross Lynda Pritchett 105, 1st low net Ai Soon Hong 75, 2nd low net Diane Matoney 78. 4th Low gross Marcia Belcher 108, 1st low net Gisela Hendrickson 71 and 2nd low net Georgia Gordon 75. Birdies were had by Cletia Bowron on 13, Georgia Gordon 16 and Jane Lee 16 and chip-ins were made by Vanida Nalamlieng on 5, Soonee Kim 18, Ai Soon Hong 16, Georgia Gordon 16, Betty Treanor 16 and Anna Kim 18. Congratulations ladies for your winning play. The sweeps format of one best net ball of foursome added to the lowest putt of the foursome was scratched due to incorrect completion of score cards.

Tomorrow on the 24th the ladies will play Bogey (par) Point. Individual stroke play one card per player keeping both Player score on top and Marker’s Gross score on the bottom.

A Thursday Social/Lunch will follow Casual Guest Day shot gun on October 8 at approximately 12 noon. Guests pay the resident rate to play golf on the Dollar Ranch Course and there is no 18er competitive tournament format. The Club Room at Creekside has been reserved for 18ers and their guests to socialize and have lunch. The set menu cost of each lunch will be $14 (CASH ONLY – NO EXCEPTIONS to be collected at lunch on October 8) for a “build your own salad buffet lunch) which includes ice tea, lemonade and coffee and tax and tip. Please enter your name and the name of your guest(s) on the sign-up sheet provided in the Thursday Social/Lunch binder and check the box labeled “Buffet lunch”.
If you would like to bring your own lunch, enter your name, names, and check the box labeled ” bring own lunch” or if you would like to order from the Creekside Menu and have Creekside staff take your order and serve your plated meal in the Club Room, enter your name, names and check the box labeled “Creekside Menu”. Deadline for sign-up is 10 am on Tuesday, October 6 and there are NO CANCELLATIONS after the 10 am deadline on Tuesday, October 6 for the set menu attendees.
